Thought it was about time to update my journal...

well what have i been up to lately. school, school and more school hooray!!!!
Nah its ok, I'll survive only 10 weeks or so left, then exams and then I'm off to Vietnam Yays.

Cant wait for nam, im going for a month, November/ December. Im traveling, working with orphans and trekking through Sapa soooooo many photographic opportunities im gonna have a blast.

Well i started my media production last week, i headed up to Rubys Lounge in belgrave and shoot a roll of film on Kate Miller-Heidke, bloody fantastic artist i suggest you check out her stuff, it was a sensational performance she has one of the most beautiful, versatile voices i have ever heard and thats saying something, my fav artist is Jeff Buckley. She was at home on the stage, very confidant, talking and joking with the crowd and given the technical difficulties early in the set it was worth the wait to hear her voice without any interruption. I got some great shots from that gig, ill post them when ive finished printing.

Talking about printing, ive been spending as much time as i can in the darkroom at the moment, i love it, its so much more personal in there, it gives me a great sense of achievement.

Im now actually considering a career in photography, its something i love and would love to improve on, ive looked at a couple of schools like The photographic studies college (PSC) [link] and The Photographic Imaging college (PIC) [link] im thinking of going with the later as it's cheaper although still of a high quality.

You know what pisses me off.... no? Well you should

Its big fucking brother, yeah thats a great idea fill a house with bogans and sluts and film the resulting sexual escapades, stupid idea. You know what would make it interesting though, deprive the housemates of food for 3 weeks and watch them convert to canabilism or release 100 posionous snakes into the house "This is Big Brother, your task to day is to remain alive" to bad they wont have Samuel Jakson to help them! How about we put them all in solitary or move the house to some war torn african nation in the middle of the night! how about some ethnic intruders "The housemates dont know it yet but todays intruder is a suicide bomber"

I wonder if i was to have a straight pride march would i be veiwed as a homophobe, all im saying is that im proud to be straight, i have nothing against gays but how would the general populace veiw my actions. What about a white pride day????

Just i thought

Im not racist

or a homophobe

im just proud of being being white

and straight

is there anything wrong with that???

the blacks are proud of being black

the gays are proud of being gay

so why cant i be proud of what i am

again just a thought

"Why do we have to pay tax, its a stupid idea, the government shoud give us money, not the otherway round" O'really and where would the government get this money (name removed for privacy, although if you think long and hard you may be able to figure out who said this little gem) honestly, this chick is brain dead. "dosent the GST mean we pay less money" "if we sit quietly at our desks and pretend to do work, maybee the teacher wont notice we emptied the garbage bin onto the floor"

But again i digress, well i finally got photoshop CS, it owns, owns with a capital P. Pwns. My comp went down the other day so i wiped the hard drive and im starting from scratch, and it no longer lags like a bitch at start up
